This simple dinner is packed full of beef, vegetables and a simple black pepper sauce. Your whole family will love this meal!

Servings: 4-6
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
3 Tbsp sesame oil
1 lb. beef stir fry strips (or steak sliced thinly against the grain)
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 yellow onion, chopped into thick slices
2 bell peppers, sliced (I like 1 green and 1 red)
1 head broccoli, cut into small florets
1/3 cup beef broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 Tbsp minced garlic minced
1/2 Tbsp minced ginger
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
cooked rice, to serve with
Directions:
Heat the sesame oil in a wok or large frying pan on high heat. Add the steak. 1 tsp ground black pepper and salt.
Cook the beef for 2-3 minutes, moving it around constantly so it doesn't stick to the pan. When the beef is browned on all sides, move it to a bowl.
Turn the heat to medium and add more oil if needed. Add in the onions, bell peppers and broccoli. Stir fry for 5 minutes until they start to soften.
In a small bowl, make the sauce by stirring together all of the remaining ingredients.
Pour the sauce into the pan and stir together. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and the vegetables are fully cooked.
Stir the beef back in and cook for 2-3 more minutes until the beef is fully heated.
Serve over rice and enjoy!
Notes:
Broccoli: You can buy a 12 oz. bag of frozen broccoli florets instead of fresh but you may need to cut them a bit smaller.
