This quick and easy dinner is pizza dough rolled up with sauce, ham, pepperoni and cheese! Roll it, bake it, slice it, and enjoy! I highly recommend using this quick and yummy Garlic Herb Pizza Dough.
Ingredients:
1 pizza dough (storebought or this homemade recipe)
1/2 cup spaghetti sauce + more on the side if needed
8-12 slices ham
30-40 slices pepperoni
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a pan with aluminum foil and spray lightly.
Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce. Spread out the ham, pepperoni and then the cheese.
Take the short ends and fold about an inch over. Then take the long end and start a tight roll like you are rolling up a cinnamon roll.
Carefully move the stromboli to the pan and use a pastry brush to spread some of the egg on top. Gently cut 6 diagonal slashes on top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Move to a cutting board to slice and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to add in other favorite pizza toppings like black olives, but it will be difficult to roll if you add too much!

This recipe was adapted from my Mom's family recipe.
I made this tonight! It was honestly really fun and pretty simple to make and I love how it was something totally different than our normal meals to take us out of a rut. Thanks for the fun idea and recipe!
