It just takes 4 ingredients to make these adorable no-bake Easter nests. These are a great to make with kids or bring to any Easter party!
Servings: 12
Total Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1 ½ cups butterscotch chips
4 1/2 cups crunchy chow mein noodles (see note)
36 mini Cadbury eggs
Directions:
In a small saucepan on low heat, melt the peanut butter and butterscotch chips until completely smooth.
In a large bowl, measure out the chow mein noodles.
Pour the melted butterscotch mixture onto the noodles and toss until the noodles are evenly coated.
Scoop the mixture into a muffin tin and gently press down in the middle to make a nest shape. I like using a silicone muffin tin for easy removal and clean up.
Add three mini Cadbury eggs to each nest and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Serve and store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Notes:
Chow mein noodles: I use the La Choy Chow Mein noodles. This recipe uses about 1 1/2 of the 5 oz. canisters.
