Ingredients:
1 cup warm water
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp instant yeast
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
2-3 cups of flour
Directions:
Stir the first five ingredients together in a bowl. Add the garlic powder, Italian seasoning and 2 cups of flour. Knead for 3-5 minutes, gradually adding more flour until the dough is no longer sticky. It should be soft and smooth (I usually end up using the 3 cups total).
Cover and let rest for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare your toppings and preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
Gently spread out pizza dough on an oiled surface. Move to a circular pizza pan or a cookie sheet sprayed lightly with cooking spray.
After adding all of your sauce and toppings, bake at 450 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.
Notes:
If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven when you preheat the oven. Then set your pizza pan onto the stone to bake.
Use a spatula to check the bottom of the pizza to see if it is done. If the top is browned but the bottom isn't, pull out both your pizza stone and pan. Letting the pan sit on the pizza stone outside of the oven will help the bottom keep cooking.
Make ahead: This pizza dough will last in the fridge for a couple of days. Just store in an airtight container sprayed lightly with oil.

This might be a silly question, but is the "oil" olive oil? :)
We made this tonight with the homemade Stromboli recipe and it was incredible! My husband kept saying how good the dough looked and calling it “professional.” It was truly delicious! Thanks for the recipe Bethany!
