Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough

What if I told you that you could make pizza dough in less than 5 minutes? This Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough is a great way to get in some extra protein and makes a quick lunch.

Servings: 1 medium pizza (1-2 servings)

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120 g) flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt

  • Sauce, cheese & toppings for your pizza

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and spices. Add the plain greek yogurt and stir well. It will be a stiff dough and you should add more flour if it is overly sticky.

  3. On a well-oiled pizza pan or a cookie sheet lined with a silicon baking mat, dump out the dough. Sprinkle on flour as needed as you press the dough into a thin circle.

  4. Top with sauce, cheese & toppings and bake for 20-25 minutes.

  5. Slice with a pizza cutter and enjoy!

Notes:

  • I usually double this recipe for my family of 3 because we all have big appetites! The pizzas are pretty filling and 2 people could easily share 1 pizza, especially if you serve with a side of salad or vegetables.
