These Loaded Burger Bowls are a great way to get all the flavors of a burger with some extra vegetables and a really yummy sauce! Lay out all of the toppings to serve an easy build-your-own dinner.
Ingredients:
1 lb. frozen French fries
1 pound 93% lean ground beef
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced (see note)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup pickle slices
Bacon bits or cooked, chopped bacon
For the sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp ketchup
2 Tbsp pickle juice or relish
pinch of salt
Directions:
Cook the French fries according to package directions.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Once the meat is fully cooked, remove from heat.
Chop the romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and onion.
In a small bowl, stir together the dressing ingredients.
Assemble the bowls starting with lettuce, then add the remaining ingredients and sauce.
Notes:
Makes about 4-6 servings.
Red onion: if you aren't a fan of raw red onion, either omit or cook the red onion with the beef for a milder flavor!
